Cooperativa Korimi is a fiscally sponsored program of Rio Grande Community Development Corporation. Our mission is to empower adults to be confident in their ability to raise healthy children, ready for school success and to become productive, contributing members to their community. We educate Spanish-speaking parents, through workshops about 1) the importance of their own mental as well as emotional well-being, 2) how to develop positive financial habits, 3) importance of their children’s development beginning at birth—which includes nutrition and literacy—and 4) future education opportunities. 

We hold workshops in areas of the Albuquerque Metro Area where high concentrations of Spanish-speaking families live; this includes the South Valley and the International District.
